Schillinger Seed Breeders are starting to summarize data from the 2008 research plot harvest and the results are very encouraging.  We are seeing some tremendous results in comparison with the checks across the midwest and midsouth.  There is still data rolling in and we will have full data sets for the eMerge Genetics product line soon but our varieties continue to look strong and endured the many challenges that were out there this past growing season.

Grower production data and dealer strip trial results will also be published as we get them along with linking you to the univeristy and third party results.

Have a continued safe harvest and stay tuned to eMerge Genetics for the most Non-GMO action out there!

Non-GMO Perspectives

I had a 120 acre field of Schillinger 388 beans that I was extremely pleased with. It was just a real tough spring for us with our soybean planting. Everything was late and fields were wet and I had weed control problems in some areas and had to do some late spraying in spots. Even in the areas where the beans were run over they were running 55 bushels on my monitor and in the clean area the monitor was hitting 75 bushels. Overall, they were the best yielding beans I had on my farm outyielding any RR beans I had this year. I will definitely plant most of my farm next year with Schillinger non-GMO and I am looking forward to the contract opportunities in my area for non-GMO.
