eMerge Genetics - Non GMO SoyBean Seeds

Agriculture is a common-sense business. It's an industry that doesn't live or die on quarterly reports or Wall Street analyst expectations.

Non-GMO Means Lower Input Costs

It's no surprise that technology licensing fees that are being charged by "big seed" are skyrocketing. You'd be naïve to believe that's going to change anytime soon. But more and more farmers are realizing that the additional cost doesn't always translate into higher yield … or more profit.

eMerge non-GMO seeds are proven to have traits and yield potential that you expect from the GMO seeds - without the additional tech fees. Pull out your calculator and see what impact $15 or even $30 per bag can have on your bottom line.

High Demand for Non-GMO Means Higher Premiums

Demand for non-GMO soybeans - especially soybeans with the healthy characteristics found in eMerge seeds - is growing both internationally and domestically. More and more food manufacturers are specifying non-GMO seeds with specific output traits - like low-lin oil and higher-protein levels. The good news? They're willing to pay a premium to growers who can supply them. That means you not only benefit from lower input costs … you'll also see higher prices. That's an even bigger boost to your bottom line.

Non-GMO Seed Means Better Soil Management

Your long-term success depends on the productivity of your soil. Year after year of applying glyphosphate - or any chemical - across your field can have a damaging effect on soil fertility. By varying your crop protection choices, you lessen the chance that your soil's will be affected by long-term use of the same product.

Non-GMO Seed Lessens the Affect of Weed Resistance

Research indicates that weed resistance to glyphosphate is becoming more common. As this resistance evolves, GMO traits will be less effective. eMerge soybeans are bred with excellent traits that make the seed a better alternative to GMO seed.

eMerge Non-GMO Seed Yield Results
High yielding soybeans come from superior varieties. You can have all the stacked GMO traits in the world, but they won't improve yield more than having the right research and breeding programs. Compare eMerge soybean seed against any other varieties in the field - non GMO or GMO. You'll find that eMerge seed stacks up to any of the rest in the field for yield and traits.

Non-GMO Perspectives

I had a 120 acre field of Schillinger 388 beans that I was extremely pleased with. It was just a real tough spring for us with our soybean planting. Everything was late and fields were wet and I had weed control problems in some areas and had to do some late spraying in spots. Even in the areas where the beans were run over they were running 55 bushels on my monitor and in the clean area the monitor was hitting 75 bushels. Overall, they were the best yielding beans I had on my farm outyielding any RR beans I had this year. I will definitely plant most of my farm next year with Schillinger non-GMO and I am looking forward to the contract opportunities in my area for non-GMO.
